Now Booking 2016 Weddings

We have received many inquiries from brides and grooms who are interested in making Upper Shirley Vineyards their wedding venue, and we are pleased to announce we are now booking weddings for 2016. Our venue is scheduled to open Winter 2015.

Here are some important key points regarding our venue/services:
- Our venue is a Full-Service indoor, heated and air-conditioned facility with a waterfront view and outdoor ceremony site overlooking the James River. Offering well-appointed indoor restroom facilities, private bridal suite, private groom’s area, guest coat check service and onsite parking for both guests and provided transportation/shuttles/buses.

- Our venue employs it’s own Executive Chef and has a restaurant and catering staff onsite. No outside caterers, food or beverages are allowed onsite. There are Food and Beverage minimums required, which must be met for each event, regardless of final guest count, which are detailed in our package information.

- Our venue rental fee includes all tables, chairs, lines, dishes, flatware, glassware, etc. for up to 250 guests, along with several other amenities (included in our Wedding Info brochure linked above). Items needed above these must be rented from our approved rental vendor.

- Our venue requires all wedding clients to hire a wedding planner, not simply a day of wedding coordinator. While our onsite Director of Events and experienced wedding planner, Elizabeth Howard, is available to hire separately via her existing wedding planning firm The Cordial Cricket, you are welcome to hire another wedding planner of your choice. *Upper Shirley Vineyards must approve ALL of your wedding vendors, including your wedding planner.*
